I would like to take a moment to congratulate the meteorologist in the area for actually getting it right. If you live anywhere in the DC area you know how rare this can be.

Don't get me wrong, I know predicting the weather is at times a tricky industry. Because lets face it, no one actually knows what it is going to do. But at the same time, these are the same people that will tell us to run out get food because a foot plus is coming only to retract that statement the day it was predicted to arrive.

It is not an easy job.

But it seems that they got this one fairly right. I am currently staring at a winter wonderland outside. The ice, the snow. It all came. And somewhere in a green room of news rooms around the area, the meteorologist are slapping one another on the back and giving each other high fives. And perhaps they should. Because it is not every day when they win the war on weather forecasting.

And if they are right, then we are in for another round tomorrow. Though this time its is in the form of snow rather than the ice. But I will save my full on congratulations until this too shall be true.

We shall see in a few more hours.
